This Privacy Policy describes how Muziris International Inc. and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “Muziris,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information[cite: 5]. We collect information about you in a variety of ways depending on how you interact with us and our websites, applications, products, services and other offerings (collectively, the “Services”), including[cite: 15]:
- Directly from you when you provide it to us, such as when you browse and use our Services, create an account, contact our Support team, sign up to receive communications from us, place an order/make a purchase, or contact us by phone, email, chat, or otherwise[cite: 16].

Although the sections above describe our primary purpose in collecting your information, in many situations we have more than one purpose[cite: 40]. For example, if you complete an online purchase, we may collect your information to perform our contract with you, but we also collect your information as we have a legitimate interest in maintaining your information after your transaction is complete so that we can quickly and easily respond to any questions about your order[cite: 41].
We use personal information to create de-identified, aggregated or anonymized information such as: information about demographics, de-identified location information, information about devices used to access our Services, and de-identified, aggregate or anonymized information on transactions on our Services that help our users understand and optimize sales[cite: 43]. To the extent we maintain and use personal information in a deidentified form, we will not attempt to reidentify the information, except for the purpose of determining whether our deidentification processes satisfy our legal obligations[cite: 44].

- Affiliates. We may disclose your information to our affiliated companies[cite: 47].
- Business Transfers. We may choose to buy or sell assets, and may disclose and/or transfer customer information in connection with the evaluation of and entry into such transactions[cite: 48]. - Credit Evaluation. If you are extended payment terms, we may disclose aggregated payment performance information to third-party service providers that report on payment performance to Muziris and other businesses[cite: 50].
- Service Providers. We may share your information with service providers[cite: 51]. Among other things service providers may help us to administer our website, conduct surveys, provide technical support, process payments, and assist in the fulfillment of orders[cite: 52].
- Advertising on the Muziris Platform. We may allow advertisers and/or merchant partners (“Advertisers”) to choose the demographic information of users who will see their advertisements and/or promotional offers[cite: 53]. We may provide any of the information we have collected from you in non-personally identifiable form to an Advertiser, in order for that Advertiser to select the appropriate audience for those advertisements and/or offers[cite: 54].
- Third-party Advertising. We want to make sure that our advertising is relevant and interesting to you and our other users[cite: 58]. To achieve this, we use specialized third-party advertising companies, including companies which collect data about you in order to build a profile of your preferences based on your activities when you visit or use the Services[cite: 59].
- User Profiles and Submissions. Certain user profile information, including your name, location, and any video or image content that such user has uploaded to the Services, may be displayed to other users to facilitate user interaction within the Services or address your request for our Services[cite: 66]. Your account privacy settings may allow you to limit the other users who can see the personal information in your user profile and/or what information in your user profile is visible to others[cite: 67].
- Other Muziris Users. If you place an order to purchase goods from Suppliers through Muziris, we will share your information with the Supplier to facilitate your order[cite: 70].
- Other Disclosures without Your Consent. We may disclose information in response to subpoenas, warrants, or court orders, or in connection with any legal process, or to comply with relevant laws[cite: 71]. We may also share your information in order to establish or exercise our rights, to defend against a legal claim, to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding possible illegal activities, suspected fraud, safety of person or property, or a violation of our policies, or to comply with your request for the shipment of products to or the provision of services by a third-party intermediary[cite: 72].

Some jurisdictions give you a right to make the following choices regarding your personal information[cite: 75]:
- Access. You may request access to your personal information or confirmation that we have information about you[cite: 76]. In certain limited circumstances, you may also request to receive access to your personal information in a portable, machine-readable format[cite: 77].
- Correction. You may request that we correct personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete[cite: 78]. Note that we may keep historical information in our backup files as permitted by law[cite: 79].
- Deletion. You may request that we delete your personal information[cite: 80]. If required by law, we will grant a request to delete information, but you should note that in many situations we must keep your personal information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or for another business purposes[cite: 81].
- Opt-out of Targeted Advertising. You may opt-out of targeted advertising by clicking the “Cookie Policy” link on our homepage and locating the Cookies Settings link[cite: 82].
- Objection to or Restriction of Certain Processing. In certain circumstances, you may object to the processing of your personal information, or request that we restrict processing of your personal information[cite: 84].
- Revocation Of Consent. Where we process your personal information based upon consent, you may revoke consent[cite: 86]. Please note, if you revoke your consent for the processing of personal information then we may no longer be able to provide you services[cite: 87].
- Online Tracking. We do not currently recognize the “Do Not Track” signal[cite: 88].
- Promotional Communications. If you no longer wish to receive promotional communications from us, follow the unsubscribe instructions in the message that you receive from us[cite: 89].
Please note, not all of the rights described above are absolute, and they do not apply in all circumstances[cite: 91]. In some cases, we may limit or deny your request because the law permits or requires us to do so, or if we are unable to adequately verify your identity[cite: 92]. We will not discriminate against individuals who exercise their privacy rights under applicable law[cite: 93].
Submitting Requests [cite: 94]
You may exercise the rights described above by contacting us as described in the “Contact Information” section below[cite: 95]. To protect your privacy, we may take steps to verify your identity before fulfilling your request, such as by asking you to log in to your Muziris account or confirm your email address[cite: 96]. If you are a California resident, you may designate an authorized agent to submit requests to exercise certain privacy rights on your behalf[cite: 97]. To do so, you must (1) provide that authorized agent written and signed permission to submit such request, and (2) verify your own identity directly with us[cite: 98].
How We Protect Information [cite: 100]
No method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is fully secure[cite: 101]. While we use reasonable efforts to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information[cite: 102]. In the event that we are required by law to inform you of a breach to your personal information we may notify you electronically, in writing, or by telephone, if permitted to do so by law[cite: 103].
Some of our websites permit you to create an account[cite: 104]. When you do you will be prompted to create a password[cite: 105]. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and you are responsible for any access to or use of your account by someone else that has obtained your password, whether or not such access or use has been authorized by you[cite: 106]. How Long We Retain Information [cite: 108]
We generally retain your personal information for only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law[cite: 109]. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, technology, legal requirements and other factors[cite: 124]. When changes are made to this Privacy Policy, they will become immediately effective when published[cite: 125]. As noted in the Terms of Service, we do not knowingly collect nor solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any personal information about yourself to us[cite: 129]. If you would like more information concerning the categories of personal information (if any) we share with third parties or affiliates for those parties to use for direct marketing, please submit a written request to us using the information in the “Contact Information” section below[cite: 143].
- California Notice of Financial Incentive. We may offer referral programs that include financial incentives[cite: 144]. To participate in these referral programs, you may be asked to provide information regarding customers, colleagues, leads, or other third parties, such as their name, store name, and email address[cite: 145]. They and/or you will receive rewards such as reduced commissions and/or fees, cash, or promotional credit to spend on the Muziris marketplace if they sign up to use our Services[cite: 146]. These referral programs are entirely voluntary. We do not assign a monetary value to the information we collect[cite: 147].
